Funeral professionals recognize that an increasing number of people don’t understand the personal benefits of funeral services. This lack of understanding contributes to unnecessary use of direct dispositions. Although everyone recognizes the problem, few have solutions for reversing this trend and educating the public about the benefits of funerals.
I have created canvas prints and booklets designed to fill this need. The goal of the prints and booklets is to turn direct burial/cremation into meaningful services. The canvas prints display the 5 Components of a Funeral and are ideal for arrangement and pre-need rooms. The 5 Components include:
A Private Family Time (Private Viewing)
A Visitation for Family & Friends
A Ceremony to Honor Life
A Place for Final Disposition
A Gathering & Reception
The canvas prints and the booklets use consistent images to educate families about the value of each funeral component. The booklets are written for two different situations: Pre-Planning & At-Need. Both of the booklets describe the 5 components of a funeral and discuss how they can be helpful to the bereaved family. The booklets also provide examples of how families can personalize funerals to make them more meaningful.
