Presentations, Trainings, & Events

I offer three different types of community presentations, workshops, and trainings. Below are examples of presentation titles for all three types of presentations. Customized topics for your community are also possible.

Community Presentations & Events

Community presentations are designed to present an interesting, informative, and hopeful message to community members. These presentations may last for 20 minutes to several hours. Examples of topics include:
• Healing during the Holidays
• Myths of Grief: Preventing Unnecessary Pain and Sadness
• Children: Grief & Funerals
• Mother’s Day When Mom is Gone
• Pet Loss: It’s a Big Deal

Appreciation Events

Appreciation events are when a business sponsors an event (e.g., luncheon, dinner, etc.) to show appreciation for local professionals. Appreciation events may honor:
• Hospice Professionals
• Nurses & Healthcare Workers
• Social workers, Counselors & Psychologists
• Ministers/Clergy
I provide inspirational and appreciative presentations that help create positive connections between local professionals and your business.

Professional Presentations, Trainings, & CEU Workshops

I also provide presentations that teach new skills and/or provide more advanced information for professionals who work with bereaved individuals. In some circumstances it may be possible to have the presentation approved for continuing education units (CEUs). These types of presentations may range in length from one hour to an all-day event and can be useful for the following professionals:
• Hospice professionals
• Nurses & Healthcare Workers
• Social workers, Counselors & Psychologists
• Ministers/Clergy
